"I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed Swing 1. You are excellent teachers... The pace, breakdown of steps for both leaders & followers, the review of previously learned moves and the building of one move to the next made learning easy & fun. I never felt intimidated and by the end of the 6 sessions felt like I could hold my own! Dancing with different partners really showed the benefits of dancing with a clear leader - it made following so much easier. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience. It provided me with the opportunity to learn something I had always wanted to learn and come away with something I will be able to use and enjoy for many years to come. I look forward to hearing about future class schedules and dances. I do intend to use it so that I don't lose it."

Six dancers - Mary Graupman, Marcia Bickford, Ida Cook, Mark, Roger Fair, & Gary Barber - went to Hurlbut nursing home February 23 and put on a Swing dance demo for patients & staff. The residents enjoyed watching the dancing, and a few were able to be on their feet and dance/sway a little. For those who were in wheel chairs, the dancers were were able to connect hands with them and sway to the music...
